Measure: Decide whether you’re mounting inside or outside the window frame.

Inside: Measure the width inside the top frame carefully because this is where the brackets mount. Outside: Measure the outside frame of the window and include a two inch overlap top, bottom, and sides.

NOTE: On inside mounts we deduct 1-1/8 inches to allow the shade to clear the frame. Be sure to give us the exact width and we will make the deduction.
